Growth & Content Lead at Express Laundry Center — writing the site's laundry guides alongside the team that runs the machines on Heiskell Ave.
I'm Frederick Sona, and I lead content and search for Express Laundry Center here in Knoxville. Every guide on this site — how to get a stain out, how much a wash-and-fold really costs, which washer size you actually need — is written with the people who run our floor, not lifted from somewhere else on the internet.
My background is in local SEO, content strategy, and answer-engine optimization — the work of making sure that when a neighbor searches for a straight answer about laundry, they find one that's accurate and genuinely useful. But the part that makes these guides worth reading isn't the SEO. It's the fact that we test them against a working laundromat: 53 washers and dryers from 20 to 80 lb, wash-and-fold running most days, and an attendant on the floor who has seen just about every stain, fabric, and machine question a person can bring in.
So when a guide says to pre-treat a grease stain a certain way, or that a queen comforter fits better in an 80-lb front-loader, that's not a guess — it's what we do and see in the store. I write it, the floor team checks it against reality, and we correct it when the real world disagrees.
Found an error in a guide, or have a laundry question we should answer? Email hello@expresslaundrytn.com or call the shop — a real person on the floor will get back to you.
